Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach also known as Pia Romero (born September 24, 1989) is a Filipino-German actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the Binibining Pilipinas 2015 national pageant as Miss Universe Philippines 2015.She will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2015 pageant
Wurtzbach was born to a German father and a Filipino mother. She has one sister who is three years younger than her. She is a graduate of Professional Culinary from Center for Asian Culinary Studies in San Juan, Metro Manila.
Pageantry
Having previously competed in the Bb Pilipinas pageant, Wurtzbach took part in the competition for the third time in 2015 where she eventually won, crowned as Miss Universe Philippines 2015 by the outgoing titleholder Miss Universe Philippines 2014 Mary Jean Lastimosa, gaining the right to represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2015
